I am NOT getting new neighbors.

Apparently Ms Crazy Neighbor checked herself into the nuthatch(I can call it this b/c I am nutty myself..lmao..) and got on medication...and she is a whole new person (gag me w/ a credit card and put me on layaway...)
WHATEVAH.
She is on meds, that doesn't make her any better in my eyes..
that just makes her a tad more normal and stable than before...
Which, I suppose is good for The Spawn, as no child deserves to live in that unstable of a home, including Satans Spawn...(and more stability means less of a chance of ME being on his 'hit list' when he is a teenager..)
BUT all the spouting off Mr Crazy did was all just talk, no real shock, since I am pretty convinced he is not only co dependent and enabling, he is also lazy and has sub normal intelligence...
and as an added bonus, I won't have him over here bugging me as much...small thing, but my sanity can be pretty tenuous at times...
seems that Del was right, and he wasn't ever really going anywhere...heh..I hate it when he is right..lol..

The dog ran away Monday evening..I opened the door to hook him on his leash, and BAM he was GONE.
someday he is going to hurt himself..
he was home in 20 minutes as always, but still..super annoying..especially since it was like 10* and I felt I had to walk down the block to see if he was still within eye sight..he wasn't..and my fingers were SO damn cold..UGH...
he was properly ashamed of himself...came home w/ head hung low and thirsty as hell...lol..
no wonder since he pee's on EVERYTHING he possibly can when he runs away..dork...lol..

OHHHH and The Spawn dropped the F bomb, AGAIN, in context..
the first time he did it he was 4..and he does it every few months,,,and most of the time I ream his ass OUT.
I told him that there is NO reason for him to EVER say that word. ever.
and I asked him if he wanted me to wash his mouth out w/ soap, to which he said NO....
and I told him if he was MY kid, I would have his ass so sore, that he wouldn't be able to sit down for a week!
and then Mr Crazy called to ask me something about BasketBall and I proceeded to ream HIS ass out..lol..
I told him the reason that The Spawn says this word is from a lack of consistancy..and punishment...his says I do punish him, and proceeded to run down a damn list of things he has done to punish said child, I said well, it isn't working, and there is NO REASON for a child of 4,5,6,7,8 OR 9 to EVER EVER say that word. ever.
Needless to say,after that, he avoided me like the plague..lol

yeah, it is never good when I start out w/ a foul word....

SO The Spawns father is coaching basketball this year, and wants Gav to join the team...I tried to put the kibosh on it from the start but he is not intelligent enough to get it, or is too stubborn to take a damn hint...I do NOT want the following 2 things to happen...

1. Gav to have to spend any more time around The Spawn than necessary..living this close to him is more than enough..
2. I do NOT want to be publicly associated w/ his father....it sounds so mean and so bitchy...but it is true...you associate w/ those that are looked upon poorly (and behave poorly) then you end up being lumped in w. them and I am NOT doing that. not. He is not a *horrible* guy, but he is not that bright, and that household is messed UP and dysfunctional...

that being said, that team needs sponsored, and Del agreed to sponsor it w/ his electrical side business..which is OK...it is the team, not that coach, that is sponsored....

so he asked me AGAIN tonight if Gav wants to play (and to be clear, he NEVER mentioned any interest in playing b-ball before..now he mentioned it, but it is b/c of The Spawn wanting to play...and he has played a team sport this year..football..he can wait till spring to play again...)
I said, no I want him to wait till spring to play any more team sports, to which he says that he need Gav for an 8th player..WTF?
DO NOT back me into a corner. period.
I maintained and said no still..but I feel like a horrible bitch...but not at the same time..
bleh.
I call it Catholic Guilt..I was raised Catholic and have always had a misplaced sense of guilt....and so do most other Catholics..I say the baptismal water causes it..just a theory tho..

My life is TORTURE

OMFG...not only do I ALWAYS lose the neighbor lottery (never fails, I always live beside a freak of some kind..it is ridiculous!)
BUT they AlWAYS insist on being my FRIEND...or in THIS case my HUSBANDS friend..
The Spawn & his father are going trick or treating w/ us tonight.I want to cry, fall on the ground & CRY...kick, scream..throw things and bite someone.....ugh.
and of COURSE how the fuck do you say NO....I want to KILL my husband for being this guys friend..honest to GOD...
so now I get to deal with the Spawn's vacant looks..blatant not listening to his Dad..generally being an annoying little fucking brat.
I know, that sounds SO mean..but this kid drives me bonkers.
I am taking booze on this walk around town...lol...

Teacher assignments!

Well, we got the teacher assignments today!
Thankfully, The Spawn is NOT in Gav's class...and even more thankfully, his bestest buddy Tristan IS in his class!
and they both got the NEW third grade teacher...I told Del that I bet she is some cute young thing, and how HE will be attending the parent teacher conferences exclusively...lol...
School starts 8/25..we have school shopping to do this weekend, and football game for the boys...and who knows what else..

rotten %^#% neighbors

OK so some of my long time friends will know my issues w/ the Bad Neighbors next door (their yard makes the Addams Family jealous I am sure..)
Dad is a complete dumb ass, and while he has a job and goes to said job every day..and he loves his son..he is a dumb ass of the highest degree...AND it turns out he has a grudge against my 11 year old..simply as retaliation against our dislike of his Spawn of Satan (hence forth known as The Spawn)
The Spawn is a child that grates on ones nerves..our first clue to this was when we FIRST bought our house...we were only over here cleaning and fixing up...maybe a week tops..well, he came over to play w/ my kids and within the first hour he dropped the F bomb..he was FOUR.
we have heard it at least a dozen times since...and we have been here 5 years...
I kick him out of my house on a regular basis..all I have to do is say GO HOME and he is gone..
he listens to me better than his own father most of the time....coz he knows I will open a can of whoop ass on him..and I have..
The Spawn has multiple behavioral issues and in my opinion, he also may have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome...his mom was in rehab 2 yrs ago and as much as she was drinking?
Yeah, she has been a boozer for a while..
He is infamous for ignoring you when you say something to him...and generally not listening and causing small bits of mayhem..
Del & I have refused to integrate him into our childrens lives as a normal friend b/c of his problems and the fact that he drives Del insane..to put it mildly...and so we do not take him places with us...
WELL the Spawns father has tried for the last 2 or 3 yrs to get Gav to go along w/ him and Spawn to a local amusement park (his company picnic) We have declined politely...simply put, we don't trust him...
WELL he is trying again..
we have not said NO as of yet. but we will be tonight...
Spawn is over here talking to the kids..apparently the subject of the amusement park came up...and Spawn said that his dad won't take Dannion (the 11 yo) because he won't listen..

Spawns father has a dislike of my eldest simply because he needs to retaliate against our dislike of The Spawn...he snaps at Dannion(I have heard it) he is harder on him than Gav and the Spawn..it is plain and clear he doesn't like my boy...for whatever his reasons are..
and the feeling is mutual..Dannion has said for quite some time now that he CANNOT stand Paul..(spawns father)

Hearing that Paul doesn;t think D can listen on an outing just put me over the edge...fucked me right OFF...not that I would let him go, but the fact that I know he has something against my BOY..oh fuck no...
